    Hiding a sewer line clean-out

x2 for me. I did it for access to my diverter valve for my septic system. One additional thing that I did, was attach a large metal washer to the underside of the lid. This will allow someone to locate it with a metal detector, after the grass has grown over it.

Don't know where to put this but...

Harbor Freight has discontinued the 18" deep side box, locker, and 44" cabinet/chest. They are bringing out 22" deep versions. The 22" deep, 44" base cab has been hitting stores already. But nothing yet on the rest of the line up. Rumor has it, they will offer black and blue colors, also.

Would you rent out your lift?

For me, the first thing I would need to know is how long the lift would be needed for and what kind of repair. I like a cool project. So "sell" me on the job. IE. Do I get to drive the car after you use my lift to put headers on it? I also have a heart. So "sell" me that the friend needs the...

Question Regarding Expectations -- Input needed

Before reading this thread. I would never have thought about it. I would have ordered more and expected a color match. Selecting the right drainage

The problem that you will face with a trench drain is that a lot of them rely on being set in concrete for stability. Without the concrete you will not get the load rating necessary to drive over it. Grading the drive to sheet drain the water away will probably be your best solution.

I park outside in the summer because I always have some project going on. In the winter, I park inside.

    Sump Pump Gurus Step Inside

Are you sure you have a backup pump? That pit looks a little small to have 2 pumps in it. I would guess 1 float for the pump and 1 float for an alarm. We know you have an alarm, you said it was going off. That only leaves 1 more float for 1 pump.

Are they better:Pre 1980 TOOLS VS New US Made tools

This is what makes this kind of question hard to answer. The tools that survived 30yrs are obviously the best of the best. So to be fair in answering the question, you would need to compare the best of the best from today. Poor tools have always been made. They just didn't survive, so you don't...
