Nazu, my understanding (I have not done this myself) is that there are stores that will sell you hydraulic hoses of whatever length and width you specify. So if your problem is just that a specific hydraulic hose isn't long enough, you can probably get a custom one made.

I can't say for sure, but in the photo earlier in this thread it looks as if there are some mechanisms above the beams at the top of the lift. If there are mechanical locks, they could be up there. Another avenue to check is I think most BendPak manuals are on their website.
