The furnace has always been plugged in to one of the GFCI wall plugs, which bugged me for 6 years. Ran a new, dedicated circuit. These pics were taken before the final painting was finished. Added two dedicated 20amp circuits for the hydroponics lighting.

Built a "bar height" standing workbench for my wife. She started moving her jewelry stuff in before I could even clean it. Wow. Converted all lighting over to LED, including the 2,700k spots above her bench. FYI - HD is now selling birch workbench tops. They're not the most durable but...

Thanks guys. It's a battle, but worth fighting. I'm going to rapid fire a few posts here with little commentary as I am up to my *** in alligators at the moment. Updated closet. Added a light and GFI power. Room underneath for a rubbermaid bin. Still needs rubber base moulding installed.

Embarrassed to admit, this was my smoking garage. It was a filthy mess. Trying to quit so giving up the last indoor space is the best first step. Already cut my smoking by 80%. Gonna coast for a couple weeks and cut it again.

So, this garage has a coating of nicotine on every surface. Started by cleaning with TSP and then applying Kilz-Max. Incredibly, the Kilz-Max covered the nicotine and smell in one coat. Had to scrub the garage doors and floors. You will see several steps done out of order (ceiling, etc.)...

Ha ha! Thanks. It takes far too much time though. I prefer to cut it myself (therapy), but may turn it over to the landscaper next year. By the end of July, I'm sick of it.

Hooray! After several seasons, tons of replacements, wiring tracing and hair pulling; I finally have the irrigation system at 100%. This thing has been a nightmare. Most of the valve boxes were buried. Still need about 3 more new heads here and there. I'm planning to move over to a WiFi...

Above 1200 Sq/FT Out on Quaker Road

That's awesome! We're members of this thing called "Harvest Hosts" and have stayed at farms, orchards and wineries all over the place. Some let you pitch in and some want you to buy something, but most just let you park for a night or two and check the place out. We've met some amazing people...

Above 1200 Sq/FT Out on Quaker Road

Man, I need an RV trip out there for a work vacation. My wife would be over the moon if we did something like that. I just need a 50amp connection. Here's my resume: I'm getting old, but I can drive tractors, watch people do heavy work, tell great jokes, fetch beer, touch everything I'm not...

    LM8500 Wall Controller Failure.

Wow, I have replaced 14 of these units - at my own expense. You can imagine the discussion I just had with Chamberlain. I have 6 garage doors on the house and have replaced all of them, some of them twice. Another one failed yesterday and sent me into a rage. I am not a big shot, but I do...

    Race Deck Color Question

You seem to be looking for a fight where none exists. At no time, in my reading of the comments in this thread, did anyone take a swipe at your product. Someone simply stated that he advises against putting rubber or plastic under floor tile in a garage, and highly recommended a breathable...
