It has been a long time since I have purchased tools from McMaster-Carr. Back in the day most of what they shipped was Proto. I have received Proto, Wright, Williams and Armstrong. If you want to know what you are going to get, I suggest MSC Direct, they are a similar supply company.

I received my starter tool set number 33215 for Christmas 1982 most of the sockets are "V" and some "G" all with model numbers. The wrenches are "V" & "VV".

PM on the 1/2 & 3/8 Proto's.

I googled that address and came up with an active military cage code for Vogel Tool Co. including a phone number 310-390-8874. The same phone number is now listed to Youngs Refrigeration at that same address.
