Someone wanted to see it bolted down. I swapped the metal jaws for some nylon ones (will do copper). Just use it for light work because its irreplaceable to me. Color is factory buell xb frame paint. Working on doing up the rest of my vintage power tools in the same color. The threads are soooo...
Not sure if you'll run into any issues but why not cut off the flange off flush and shorten the square tube and weld the flange back on? splicing in the middle like that is not so bueno.
love it. My 2yo is going to be trouble for sure. Have a bunch of both my grandfathers tools also. Need to get an old manual lathe and mill to put some to use. Have to keep passing it on. Ill be tickled pink to find him getting into my tools later. Just need to make sure I have enough "stuff" to...
We use some stuff at work labeled SCQ for wiping down forklifts and it really gets the sharpie marks off well. It will also take off spray paint but the oem paints/powder coats are safe.

The lithium stuff is way better now a days though.

Kresto type soap, the light brown with the walnut shells. Ive used snap on and several other brands seem to have all worked the same. I have a few gallon jugs as I get it in bulk. Everything else seems to tear up my hands.
Flat rate, Have you ever done plugs on a ford 4.6/5.4 3v engine? if the original plugs were in more than 60-70k miles good luck not snapping one off.
Also having worked on propane forklifts for a while now, due to the time the plugs stay in the engine and heat cycles, I use it always.
I would probobly replace that card. It looks like there is a small wire/trace on the top of that third pin that goes to that little tan/brown component. Did you solder the wires directly to the card? If the joystick harness checks good (POT and switches) then something on the card sounds...
