FWIW, I decided on Swisstrax RibTrax for my garage floor (entire floor, not a pad). The other fellas with all of the experience pretty much summed it up, so I won't be laying down a pad first as it shouldn't shift at all with that much area covered. Besides, the Ribtrax is rock solid.
