    Cabinets **Again**

I ended up going with Gladiators. When I was able to compare the Craftsman, Stack On, and Gladiator side by side at Sears, the choice was easy. They were the most expensive of the 3, but hands down the most solidly built and best quality.

    Wall cabinets for garage?

Sorry about the delay in replying....I had to work all weekend on some of my days off. I went to Sears last Thursday to get some of the Stack On cabinets. But, once I got there, I saw the Gladiator cabinets next to the Stack Ons. So I was able to compare them side by side. But, it didn't...

    Slap's garage update

Well, the end is in sight, finally. I have been able to overcome all of the obstacles I ran into. I'll try to hit the high points and solutions I found, hopefully they will help other members. Gutting/demolition was the easy part. I just rented a trailer, filled it up, and they took it to...

    wiring question

All of the other dual switch circuits I have control the circuit both on and off from both switches. On this one, I have to turn the lights on at the primary switch. Then I can turn them on or of from the other one. But if the primary switch is off, the second switch does nothing.....

    wiring question

I got them swapped out pretty easily. The only problem I found was on the garage light switch. There are 2 switches for them. One of the switches only works when I turn the lights on at the main switch. It isn't a big deal since I almost never use that switch....

    Race Deck vs. Lock-tile?

I have the same type of legs/feet on mine also.

    wiring question

Thanks...I ended up just getting new 3 way switches to replace those with. It isn't worth another headache....lol

    Race Deck vs. Lock-tile?

Thanks for the heads up on the jacks/jack stands....I'll be sure to put something underneath them. I ordered Race Deck tiles. I also found it cheaper to order slightly more to get the discount at 500 sq ft. My garage is around 26x19, the total order was around $1800, including shipping, 50 ft...

    wiring question

ok, that's what I was thinking, but wanted to ask. I assume there are different switches for those than the standard light switch? If I replace that switch with just a standard light switch, it will only work from that particular switch????

    wiring question

I am in the process of replacing all of the old outlets and switches in the garage. When I went to replace the switches, I found that many of them have a black, white, and RED wire connected to them. Can someone tell me what the red wire is for?? I was going to use standard switches, but they...

    Detailing My New Car Question

Like Greg said, the intial prep (wash, clay bar, etc) is VERY important. Detailing is like algebra...you need to build the blocks as you go. If you start off bad, or miss something along the way, the end product is less than ideal. I use nothing but Zaino. Car waxes/polishes are like...

    power tool to remove stucco

YESSSSSSS......the needle gun is what I was thinking of. I will check the local tool rental places to see if they have them. This chippin stucco by hands *****...1 little piece at a time. Some sections come off easily, most do not.

    power tool to remove stucco

I considered that. I already tried a hammer drill with a chisel type bit. The stucco is very thin and it is hard to even get the thin blade of the paint scraper underneath.

    power tool to remove stucco

OK tool gurus.......need some info. I need a POWER tool to chip some thin stucco of a concrete block wall. I've been doing it with hammer and heavy duty scraper, and that isn't cutting it. I remember back in my Coast Guard days, the boat guys had some type of grinder/chisel type thing they...
