Any studies on productivity in AC vs NON-AC shops?

This is a bad thing how? I don't understand why smokers think I want to breathe thier stink. I really don't care that anyone smokes. I think they should be able to do what they want. But it smells like dirty monkey *** to the non smokers.

Any studies on productivity in AC vs NON-AC shops?

I work in a large automotive shop in Alabama where if its not freaking blistering hot then it is only miserably hot, and thats it. We have a pretty new shop that has all the ductwork for AC installed but the owner won't come off the money to actually buy the Units. I would love to find some...

How do you justify the cost of a high end tool box?

WOW! Now I might have gotten behind that deal. You could probably get most of your money back by selling one of them. thats what I would do anyway.

How do you justify the cost of a high end tool box?

Ok, Now I get it. I can understand this argument. People by them because they want them. This is why I drive old cars and motorcycles when I could afford a new trouble free car. Thanks, thats what I was looking for. Mike

How do you justify the cost of a high end tool box?

Just curious. I've been a professional mechanic for almost 10 years now. I have never bought a new toolbox. I have a big mac box now with a side cabnet thats about 10 years old. I payed $2500 for it used 3 years ago. I just can not figure out how a $6,000-$10,000 tool box is going to make me...

    Paint Gun Recomendation

A lot of people will disagree with this. If you are only going to use the gun every now and then you can do a god paint job with the $75 gun from Lowes. I bought one to spray primer on my bike and car parts. My buddy who uses a SATA and is a very good painter decided to use it to spray my bike...

    I need a sand blaster.

I need a blaster that I can use outside the shop for large body panels like fenders and doors and such. I've never used a portable blaster so any advise would be apreciated. I have plenty of air and I'd like to stay under or around $400. Also I hear sand may not be the best media to use any...
