    i would sandblast at low pressure . (40 to 50 psi ) tape off any part you dont want cleaned with duct tape

    i was in a pinch once and used , 2 in wide clear packing tape , when it gets fogged up peal and replace . ive been useing if ever since . how long it last vary,s on what im blasting (sand deflecting back onto the tape )

    Removing a valve from propane tank???

    I took one out by laying the tank on its side on the floor / put a block of wood next to it , pipe wrench on the valve and gave it a couple of good wacks with a bfh. ( big f,ing hammer )... the wrench . not the tank :)
