Thanks all, I have replaced the check valve and the line is nylon/plastic. I have had this compressor for probably 15 years and never this problem. I have replaced the line.
My compressor has began to blow the unloader line off of the check valve at 100 psi. The compressor will continue to run until I turn it off. I can’t figure out what is causing this. Can anyone offer a thought?
QuickJack is out untill Tuesday and I need the car down by this evening. I am confused by your bleed valve comment M635. Are you referring to the pressure relief on the power unit? Bleeder on the cylinder? educate me please.
Thanks merkyworks, I tried that and could not get it to compress. I then loosened the fitting to allow pressure release and although it lost some fluid it did not allow me to reconnect.
I have tried the down button. I have disconnected the hoses both times previously and had no problem reconnecting. After locking I push the down button to relieve pressure.
I recently purchased one and have used it twice. I now have a car up and after disconnecting a hose I find that I can not reconnect it. I even had my muscular neighbor come give it a try. Have any of you had this experience and how did you overcome it.
I am considering purchasing one of these, can someone comment on moving the jacks> I probably will buy the 3500lb unit as all of my vehicles weigh under that. At 60lbs each I wonder how easily I can do that.
I have one on the back garage door of my shop which faces the yard. Before I retired I used it quite often on spring/summer nights to cut down on bugs in the shop. Now I don't use it at all because I am not in the shop after dark.
Very timely thread for me. Have a friend who just installed a Mitsu Mr Slim. He already had the electrical in place and had a HVAC guy do the final connection on hoses. Otherwise he installed it himself. I am planning on ordering the same unit myself on Monday. I certainly expect to do my...
I am planning on adding some insulation batts to my shop attic. I am unsure which to use. I am simply trying to ward off the summer sun somewhat and this winter will use plywood to line the "room". I think R30 is what I will use, but backed or no back?
Hopefully the pictures help.
