    16"OC or 24"OC Framing?

    2 ft centers are very common in steel framed structures. The dead loading aspects, cheaper materials, and easier install (think plumbing electrical etc) makes it a very nice situation. When building 24 oc walls I make every door frame like it's load bearing to help with wall regidity.

    They also have unsanded caulk to match the unsanded grout in the exact color. I prefer unsanded on a backslash with tight joints.

    Yupp. Grout may not crack there but possibly will... I use caulk on all joints touching cabinetry

    Knipex wrench for sure... Also I like every size adjustable... Yes I use an actual wrench most of the time, but adjustables are handy for certain things .. leverage in bending, also they can cut down on tools you"take with you" when you're not working in your garage.
