I think I'm going to end up getting the Forward 6.5" vice now while I keep my eyes out for an old MIUSA vice on a deal. I think for $100 and all its going to do is hold motorcycle forks for the immediate future, anything will be fine. Thanks all!

Im south side of Indianapolis.

I need it nowish. I need to rebuild forks on my race bikes. I dont foresee it being abused. The bench it will go onto is large with a 1/2 board on it. Really general use.

I am in Indiana. Do you think its worth while getting the larger one? you can get the 6.5 for $7 more.

I wanted a price/performance kind of deal. Which brand/product is going to be the nicest for the money here? I dont want to cheap out, but i prob wont be able to sand the floor ill be able to etch it tho.

So I'm buying my first house here and i get it end of this month. I dont have to move in instantly so Im planning on doing some work to it. I have a 2 car garage that i would like to fill in the cracks and potentially even fill in the seams if thats ok. Not sure how that would effect expansion...
