    Harbor Freight Coupon Thread

I received it on I think 8-9, and went to use it on 8-11 the day it expired. I would say Harbor Freight is to blame for me 'wasting' it. Fortunately I am pretty well set on the hand tool side and won't be missing a 25% off coupon too bad!

Semi related, I got this email as well about a week before you did. Went to go buy their sand blast cabinet I've been eyeballing for months. None available anywhere within 100mi and they could not backorder it. Which I assume means they are either having supply issues or going with a new...

What is the correct name for this

I always knew them as speed nuts, along with the 'split corners hex' nut that is thinner with the flange on it.

    Motor Oil Deals & Rebates

I submitted the Mobil 1 rebate on May 20th. Received an email saying that my rebate was approved on July 10th, for 3 cups and 3 $10 gift cards. On July 13th I received an email asking me to confirm payment which I did. Within a week I received 3 cups in a box and then a separate envelope with...

Amazon Deals on New Retail Items - Post them!

Interesting. There were 4 in stock when I saw this and posted the link, I ordered 1 as that will last me a long time in my truck. Now it shows 3 in stock. Wondering if it would've been a vendor for those had 1 in stock at that price and was next in line to be sold? I should've tried to add...

1000ct of Mayhew 7" 50lb zip ties is back down to $17.94. These were on sale a while back for cheapish, maybe cheaper than this price. I think they are down from $25. Lowest price in 30 days at least. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0D341SMK8/?tag=atomicindus08-20

Quality set of spiral tapered reamers?

That seems to be the ticket on finding them. It looks like what I have are some el cheapo Amazon specials. Appreciate the info!

Quality set of spiral tapered reamers?

Hey y'all. Looking to replace a worn out set of spiral tapered reamers we use here in our shop on heavy equipment/semis/trailers. What are some quality brands to look at? Obviously price is always a factor but we need something that is good and just works without needing constant replacement...

Amazon Deals on New Retail Items - Post them!

I've got a boy working for me that's in a vocational type program through his high school, these will be perfect for him. And I'm getting a set to keep in the truck. Think it's well worth the $17.

    Menards Deals

Is this really a deal if you factor in the costs of sugar in your diet on your health and on your teeth, and the impact that can have on your wallet, thereby limiting your available funds to buy things from the deals threads (like the Amazon cart?!?!)

As soloz2 said above, the Vevor units are pretty good quality. I have been using on to clean parts I have out of a 1947 Willy's CJ2A to good effect. I would look in to those either through the Vevor store directly or on Amazon.

I'd add on Central Transport. I have used them for personal and work, and my dad consistently uses them for work, and we have had fantastic luck. Price has always been great too, almost always cheaper than anyone else quotes.

    inflatable paint booth

This is my plan for the future when I spray my tub and frame and such. Drop plastic from the (open) rafters and continue with my fan exhausting through the door.

    inflatable paint booth

I have painted panels in my shop by covering up all of the nearby important things that can't get overspray (tool box, parts shelves, etc), cracking open the big shop door about 6" and throwing a heavy duty blower fan pointing out the door to move air out. Other than overspray on the floor...

    Home Depot deals/sales/clearance

My brother in law uses one of these Coast Slayer lights, and compared to my Streamlight Wedge, I have to say that his might be the more useful light. It has more spill than my Wedge does. The center beam on my Wedge is better but that's not super useful unless I am spotlighting something in my...
