I was born in 1943. Been a car guy as long as I can remember. Owned my own auto shop for several years. And have done many other things. When there is a wife and three kids you do whatever is necessary to keep food on the table. I'm also a competent welder and I like metal fabrication more than mechanics. I am on the threshold of retirement. Have cut back on the work load and am in the process of closing the shop. I hope I can add something of value to this forum.

My real passion is flying. I have been a hotair balloon pilot for 30+ years.
