Im usually a looker and not too much of a talker, but this is a subject I really know about first hand. I have a forced air out side furnace for my house and a huge one for my shop. It will keep my 1800 sq ft house around 1-2 degrees of where I set the thermostat.

I believe so. Where they were digging it is pretty much solid rock. Around here in Missouri we farm rocks pretty good. The contractor is VERY reputable and said that was just fine for the slab. The footing is HUGE and the columns have a special pad under them also.
