    Wire in conduit

I didn't, that's why asked if it was doable first. It maybe another one of these threads, but I appreciate it. I did not find a thread that helped after running the search function, that's why I posted the question. I appreciate the time and comments, though. It allowed me to be waste deep in...

    Wire in conduit

It didn't look like it would fit. Thanks for the advise. So where the UF comes up out of the ground and runs to the outlet, it needs to be covered where exposed correct? If yes, do I junction at the bottom, and run THHN? I could run 1" conduit to a different box and make the run to the store for...

    Wire in conduit

Am I using the wrong terminology? It has a hot, a neutral, and a ground. Solid wire. PITA to bend. It is thick. Hard to read. It's defiantly no 12. I will defiantly redo the whole thing at some point. I think I can run 10 single strands of 10 in 3/4, but that uf is thick!

    Wire in conduit

Sorry, I had my helper post the question and they made some incorrect assumptions on what I meant. I have inherited a fish pond complete with pumps from the previous owner. For whatever reason he chose 10/2 for the UF THHN that he ran to power a 15 amp circuit. The run is 50'...maybe 75'...

There is another roll up door on the other end. The garage is about 600 sqr feet. The shop is 19' x 32' inside dimensions, it's like a three car garage, except it is oriented lengthwise. So the space is not maximized for car parking. I can fit two cars front to back, but not two trucks. So...

Yes...the TV is a huge distraction. Even for getting work done around the shop. The computer is too. Instead of installing the insulation last night. I typed on this forum and watched two football games. I did get some work done. I nailed 8 pieces of wood into the rafters. woo hoo. The space...

Right now I have 50% of the insulation for the attic up, and no drywall. The front metal door is a huge heat sink. For the last 8 months I've run it mostly on weekends or days I plan to work in the garage. On the weekends I run it from Friday when I get home until the end of the weekend. I also...

The number one thing that I used this forum for was electrical. I referenced a copy of the appropriate electric code (as recommended), and read a lot of important information from this site about electrical wiring for my electric work. Photos don't really do it justice, but thanks for the help...

Here is my new car jack. It's a used, reconditioned Mohawk A-7. I posted on another thread about my experience with the lift. I'll post the link here when I get a chance. The lift is the number one important thing in the shop. Unplanned, but you really need it once you have the lift. Bought...

Six 120 watt spots back and 5 spots front...for those nights that I want to wash my car at 2:00 in the morning. Here's a little bit of a mess...but you can see some lounge chairs and a fridge I have for resting between jobs...or just screwing off and watching TV. It's also a good shot of...

The number 2 most important thing in the garage...maybe number one depending on the day. A Mitsubishi mini-split (AC and Heat). The heat is for the 20 days its cold in south Florida. I picked this directly, 100% based on threads from this forum. I may have read some stuff on other sights...but...

Here is a funny story. My supply cabinet. A buddy gave me a desert tan, rusted, military cabinet. Instead of buying a new one, I made this one work. I spent an entire weekend sanding and painting this one. I bought a can of undercoat, 2 cans of "textured" black, and 1 can of primer. 15+ cans...

I had a wooden work bench that you may see in some photos. I intended it to last a short time, which it did. I have since installed a home depot stainless steel "husky" unit. I wanted an SS table. It cost $250. When I got it, it was damaged. The manufacturer incourages you to call their number...
