is this a trick question? I'm pretty sure I'll never stop buying tools, and I'll bet that many other members on this forum feel the same way.

    Did snap-on make a mistake?

Ratchet wrenches - one way or reversible?

that's a tricky question because, it depends on what you work on. if you work on many types of cars fasteners can be in a multitude of P.I.T.A. places. if you work on only one type of vehicle that you know a reversable wrench will make it easier to handle a fastener, then stick with that.

    Did snap-on make a mistake?

the tool man that I bought them from had to order them. as for selling them, I have no plans at all. I just wanted new wrenches that I could use forever and I could hand down to my sons when they start wrenching on cars too.

    Did snap-on make a mistake?

yea, I really like the ratcheting box wrenches, because they are USA made, are very strong and i get 2 diffrent sizes on one wrench. call me old school but I like them better then the ratcheting combination wrenches.

    Did snap-on make a mistake?

I recently bought a SAE and metric ratcheting box set from my local tool guy. The strange thing is that on the box of the metric set it says blue point, but the wrenches all say snap-on on them. I’m almost hesitant to use these because it may be collectable. Has anyone seen oddities like this?

    Your Snap On Tool Suggestions

you assume way to much, just because I said the price is to high doesn't mean that I can't afford them. I just value my hard earned money. so you're telling me that snap-on likes the fact that people are re-selling their tools online? I doubt it.

    Your Snap On Tool Suggestions

yes you are right, they were sold new to someone in the past. they are losing money to tools they produced in the past, by still honoring warranties to those tools.

    Your Snap On Tool Suggestions

please, bring back the round head index-able ratchet. I just bought the matco version of it and liked it. I realize that this topic has been beat to death, but I agree completely about the price of their tools. snap-on must have a large overhead cost to justify some of these prices. the more...

    snap-on round head ratchet

no, this is a different kind of handle swap. I want to see what other brand ratchet handles will fit the ratchet body. if things go as planned I would like to make a franken-ratchet.
