I live 5 minutes from a Menards so I am leaning heavy towards their shelves. I also like that they sell individual parts so you can piecemeal a setup. How is the wood inserts they sell. Worth the price or skip and make your own?

My local Costco did not have any local stock or display.

Thanks for the feedback. They seem like the cheapest option of this style of shelving right now. I would like to find a source for parts. But some more crossbars and make 3 wide shelving out of two full sets from Northern.

Thanks for tips. Is there enough room to drill another hole in the foot closer to upright portion? Where are you buying the casters from? Someplace cheap like HF or Northern? Or more expensive like McMaster Carr?

Does anyone have any experience with these Northern Tool Ironton brand metal shelves? $250 for same size as the Whalen brand at Costco for $320. So save $70 over Costco. Look the same on website. Curious if anyone has purchased them, in the market for this type of shelf...

My wife and I purchased an acreage recently and this Trane Unit heater is hanging in the detached garage. Tag says 60,000 BTU output. The space is 24x48 without any insulation in the ceiling. Use is hobby/workshop as time allows. Current location hangs perfect for me to whack my head into it...

I have a poly Suncast shed that I'd like some more storage hanging solutions. The back wall has a steel c channel near the top. Does anyone know a source to buy hooks or brackets that attach to the c channel? It's circled in red in my picture. Thanks.
