Sorry guys.. I should have been more clear. I am referencing the inside. The thought on the seal on the bottom was to keep water from getting to the wall when washing cars and stuff. I get what you are saying on the moisture. The walls are just on the cement with sill foam down first. No other...
I want to put trim around the bottom of my shop to finish it off. I was thinking of using 1"x4" PVC and sealing the bottom with silicone before I set it in place. I also have two windows and a door to finish. I saw this from Home depot and thought maybe I could do the jam extensions and all the...
For those that have used the vinyl stripe.. Do you think it would stick ok on a textured wall? I have a perlite finish in my shop so not sure if it'll stick ok. I know the stripe will show some texture so not ideal, but it still may be the easiest way to get a good stripe if it'll stick. :) Thanks!
Maybe change the garage main breaker to this 80a? https://www.pacificcoastbreaker.com/qom80vh-square-d-new-circuit-breaker.html?gclid=CjwKCAjw4rf6BRAvEiwAn2Q76q-qhmFGCmjiAne98sK0vG5TDOy9cR2zepSNFL01Q31y_sK68N0QMRoC-hgQAvD_BwE
I just finished running 2-2-2-4 MHF 200' total from house to shop. House has a 200a main panel and a 100a sub panel when they finished the basement. I tied into the 100a subpanel with the MHF wire for now to a 50a breaker I already had. On the shop side I have a 100a panel found here...
For the swing joint... Do you just make it out of the parts, or is it something you can buy as an assembly? I read up on why you would use one and it makes sense. Googling mostly returns sprinkler results.
I have been reading but still have some questions. My setup is as follows:
1. 200ft run 1 1/4 poly pipe with tracer wire
2. 75k BTU heater in shop
3. Will use risers on each end to convert to MIP ends
4. Each riser will have shutoffs
I think that is what I know for sure. I don't know anything...
I measured and it will be 40' from heater to the inlet coming into the garage. Only 4 90's so not a bunch of fittings but seems like I am pushing the limits. I don't know the pressure from the house. I haven't trenched that line yet and planned to get the gas company involved then.
I didn't...
I am running 200' of 1 1/4" gas line to my shop that will run a 75k btu Hot Dawg heater. Inside the shop I ran 1/2" black pipe about 30' to stub out where I'll connect the heater. I was looking at the manual and if I read it right I am real close to min CFH due to the 30' run of black pipe. Can...
Finally getting around to my lighting now that temps are warming up. I purchased one of the recommended light fixtures from prolighting to get exact dimensions and lay things out: https://www.prolighting.com/t443ssubcxx00p0-18w5k.html
They shipped quick and seem great to work with. (and we get...
