The powertorque, powerbuilt, gm goodwrench, gearhead (or whatever pep boys has), etc look like they come out of the same factory. The Tiawan stuff is very good. I could be wrong, but the Pittsburgh Pro stuff looks very similar.

I got rid of my old Cman sockets for this reason. That is the most annoying thing that can happen when your working under a car when changing sockets.

You could always use a 3/8 hex socket and a 3/8 socket to accept it. Good snug fit.

Yeah, Bussman You can just pick them up in any auto parts store. I keep forgetting which way its spelled.. They came and did a fuse demo for us in class a long time ago and said they spell it that way for trademark reasons or something of that nature.

Actually buss and littlefuse are typically made in USA (some newer ones are made in Mexico) After the fuse recall issue at HF, they switched suppliers to Tiawan. (But the price took a big jump from the Chinese ones)

Much better than TSC. Sort of a cross between an Ace and Home Dept. I agree though, almost everything in TSC is china.

Not really. Companies buy the rights to the name and run online stores that have nothing to do with the original company what so ever, other than the name. Comp usa circuit city tiger direct all have these "online stores" with the original logos and such but the original outfit is long gone.

I'd really hate to see them go. I shop there every three or four months. Things like pillows, towels, clothes, tools. The store does seem very 80's. The store closest to me can be walking distance, but when I drive, I do get great parking. It does irritate me though, I go in for 1 item, and...
