Am a weird *** female who has been in love with mechanical things since I was aged 10. My father, a mechanical engineer, was gonna be sure I knew how to take care of a car when I began driving, by 16 I had a pretty fair idea of what made cars ticks, mainly Chrysler Products, which after 50 yrs I still have my passion for carborated Dodges, specifically Trucks and Vans. However My mechanical passion was altered when I ventured into the Military and wound up one of the few early "girls" playing with Boys toys. This fueled my passion to learn more about everything in an airplane so I directed my energy in the USN, to learn electronics, some 35 yrs later, well after a military life and many years keeping our TROOPS Flying, GOD BLESS EM ALL, and THANKS TO ALL VETS FOR YOUR SERVICE, I have gone into semi retirement and now trying to keep our "civilian" force equipped with a decent low cost hand tools, air tools, tool boxes etc. So you may see alot of my offerings arent maybe as directly automotive related as they might be but they certainly DO cross over.
During my civilian life I had occassion to work as a Customer Service Agent for a couple of different Airlines. The distain the public has for flying made me realize anything I did in retail, or online sales, I was going to do my absolute best to give the customer what they deserved, as well as the best for what they are paying for.
Now what I been doing.... buying huge *** lots of tools from whatever source I can find, Air tools get cleaned, tested and relubed. Tool Boxes...cleaned as well as I can, drawer slides lubed, and repainted, new locks with 2 keys.
Hand tools: cleaned, old tools marks removed IF they do not hurt the fit, form , and function as the tool originally designed, in otherwords, if a wrench is ID'd on the working end, that ID is staying, if on the body, I'll try to get it off.
