I just put it down in my garage 2 weekends ago, my dad helped me since he is a painter but I do remember him saying something about the humidity helping it , it was in the 90's both days with 70%+ humidity .

i was assuming you have a Sheetrock ceiling , cut small hole and fixture slips right in and clamps to the Sheetrock.

What builder are you going with ?

I think that would give me an extra 22" of clearance 5' each way off of center , which should be all I need for the lift and ceiling height while avoiding another 750 dollar variance from the township (height variance for 12' walls)
