    Patch between two slabs?

Thanks Kevin, I just wanted to make sure I wasn't over simplifying it. About your issue, I also have a slight variance between the two floors. However they are only off by about 1/4-1/2 inch at most. I will probably have a slight slope as well. After the patch, I am diamond grinding, so I'm...

    Patch between two slabs?

The pictures below show what I am dealing with. The previous owner built a second bay onto the garage but left the center wall (). I removed the wall and would like to fill in the trench. It measures 3 1/2" wide, 19 ft long, ~5" deep, and is directly on top of the old exterior...

    Concrete sanders

Legacy, I don't want to prep the concrete for anything. Just want to remove the old coating and have smooth concrete. Will the diamond grinder leave a smooth surface?

    Concrete sanders

I have the exact same question as the OP. Since it seems he has forgotten about this thread, I'll take it! The previous owner painted the floor with some sort of epoxy. Since I reconfigured some walls to redo the garage, the concrete is bare in some areas. I want to remove the coating and go...

    Insulating Wall

Right, during the winter the house will be heated every day, where the garage will ony see heat occasionally. Is there any issue with stuffing the facing in from the "back side" of the wall? Normally the facing is stapled to the bare studs prior to drywall. I guess that was my only concern.

    Insulating Wall

Not normally. Probably a space heater a few times per winter if I need to get a project done.

    Insulating Wall

Hey guys. Been lurking for the past year and finally joined. Justed finished a home renovation and will now start working on my attached garage. Anyway, I have a question about insulating the wall between my garage and house. I removed a fireplace and moved a door last spring, framed, and...
