Bought this pole building and would like to adjust the garage door a little bit, but the rails were poured into the concrete Any reason I can't just cut these off right above the concrete?

I just meant to seal up those small gaps that the corrugation makes. Eventually I'd like to have it all actually spray foamed to insulate it but for now I just want to keep the bees and wasps out
