    Car condo owners, in here

I bought one in January in Naples FL, and was big $. Paid cash, so cant comment on financing. Our umbrella covers general liability. I talked to an agent about contents protection, and they came back with hundreds of thousands of $ in contents protection, for around $3k a year, cars have their...

Audio Receiver and Speakers in Metal Building

Sound quality will be very good in a unit of that era. But by todays forced standards, its completely obsolete. No HDMI. let me guess its got some SVHS (a 4 pin DIN connector), and maybe component video switching (red green and blue RCA connectors). Dont think twice about protecting it. just...

What to do with old Dish TV equipment in garage

Recycle. As mentioned above, i also put up a starlink at our garage, and used an old Directv mount i had sitting around, vs buying something new.

Audio Receiver and Speakers in Metal Building

Receiver will be fine. Super high humidity id worry more about the tools getting rusty. I run dehumidifiers in my garages (in some cases in addition to AC).

    Digital tire inflator?

I got this Rapid Air automatic inflator a few months ago. Super happy with it. Set it, walk away, especially handy for large volume tires (tractor), beeps when done. The only complaint I read about here (before buying it), was the quantity of batteries it takes (7 AA if I recall)

    Snap-on KR-562

Mine is older than the one pictured, does have the low dividers, and friction slides. I bought it in the early 90's (used was ~10 years old then). Mine has a foot operated "brake" to hold the box in place (not present in the pic above).

Brake work on 4 post lift using a jack tray: bottle jack, small floor jack, or airbag?

Bottle jacks are just fine. Other ideas, not mentioned that I have done, tall jackstands on the floor, lower the car on to them (obviously the car then is not at a great working height). I have also used quick jacks on the runners of the 4 post lift (understood that this might not be in the...

Lift options for two 8' wide doors

In that application I would do two 4 post lifts, vs the double wide. Double wides are cool, but keep in mind, you have to move both cars under, to lower the lift, vs the one car under the single lift. And as you point out the 24" divider will make things challenging. Im not a big fan of the...

Best Non-Marring Sockets for Wheel Lug Nuts?

What works for me, one of our 911's has aluminum lug nuts. I use a piece of poly plastic, then over it a 6 point Snap On socket. No marring on a easy to damage lug nut.

New Toolbox search-Husky Heavy Duty vs Craftsman V Series vs US General

Im not a huge fan of buying used tools, but I sure would buy (and have) a used tool box. Just something to consider.

    Would I regret a 4 post lift?

We have many 4 posts and a 2 post. A couple comments: Rolling jacks, on a 4 post, are great, as mentioned expensive. I have a lift that does not have the roller jacks, I have used a pair of quick jacks sitting on the ramps of the 4 post (seems crazy, but works well). I have also used TALL...
