How did you mount it? Sounds like not enough attachment points.
I abandoned the upper "hanging lip" and cut it off with a grinder wheel and repainted, then drilled proper holes to place it flush with bottom of 5-drawer, then used loc-tite on hardware, and mine is holding up great, no...
Did you print out the coupon and fill out all of the fields? I've just got it saved on my phone and have a feeling they won't buy into using it. Coupon code probably isn't in their system...?
Those two mods work against eachother. If you actually use the top surface to work on, or even set something heavy onto, it will knock your tools off the magnet, even if you have a pretty strong magnet rail.
Definitely. Keep the black border theme going, with just blue painted doors, would look like a Miller OE option!
What welder is that hackwelder? I'm currently in the market for an entry level unit, and also may consider converting my 4 drawer to do the same as yours there when I pick one up...
Yeah I told you it doesn't tip easy, and I'm sure now it's really planted with your steel plate in there!!
But it's odd, mine came with 2 swivels and 2 fixed wheels. I was wishing it came with all swivels because my barn has some tight areas where I feel like austin powers trying to turn it...
I don't think the angle iron frame is necessary if you have your 5 drawer loaded with tools, or unless you're pushing over uneven ground. I really have to try to get mine to lift off the ground.
Have any closer photos of this?
I'm always setting my power drill/drivers on the top of my side cabinet, but I know one of these days I'm going to elbow it to the cement.
Would be helpful to have a holster of some sort.
I'm also working on a grease gun holder for mine. I'll post pics if...
I think TerryH's long handle mod there is probably one of the cleanest ones in this thread. I've gotta get around to dismounting my side cab and try to do something similar on mine.
Yeah that's what I was wondering. Could just use an RC charger like mentioned above... and it would look factory still.
But, I'm just assuming it may be a little costly.
Not sure if it justifies why the cost is so much higher, but it is quite a bit larger/lower profile and lifts higher. It also has a foot pedal that I don't believe the 3ton has, but I could be wrong....
I just had to drill out and tap the hole to replace the bolt that holds the handle down on...
