    What tools do you carry in your pocket?

    Pockets: Coast HX5 flashlight, knife (We, at the moment), pen. Extra: A small kit bag that is usually in the truck, but may be in my work backpack or golf cart. Not exactly in-pocket, but right there. Sockets, utility knife, Leatherman scissors, driver bits, mini-ratchet, small Knipex, etc.

    RYOBI increasing hand tool selection

    To me the problem is the possibility of **** pushing better tools out of stores. Ex: Estwing is no longer carried at HD, is this why?

    Please school me on the newer impact drivers and drills

    A lot of it can actually be the bits. This is one place I started spending more, and getting more. Dumped my old driving bits (no-name or Craftsman, maybe) for Milwaukee. Dumped my old drill bits for Viking and Drill America, I think some Bosch masonry bits. Same Ryobi tools I've had for years...
