Thank you for insight. I saw a restoration vid on YouTube and it had the similar issue. Restorer welded a piece of steel and milled and filed it down. Came out really nice. Was always under impression cast was to difficult to weld. He made it look easy. Any comment on vid much appreciated

Have a Wilton 500S. Looking for a moveable jaw casting part #101215. I picked up vise and found out a portion of shelf under jaws is sheared off. Wondering if there are members who know how or if can obtain part for this vise. Would like make this a usable vise if possible. Thank you
