    The Unofficial Vise Parts Swap Thread.

    Air Compressor Noise Chamber/ Suppressor

    I have a 60 gal Porter Cable upright unit. It was so loud! Even in an insullated room with an insullated door, I couldn't hear the radio! So I bolted it to the floor with 4" rubber isolation mounts I found on ebay. Originally for an Abrams Tank! Wow what a difference! Now with the door closed...

    Machinest Needed

    Help Please! I just broke my Rock Island No. 73 super old vise. It has 4in jaws, swivel type and I broke the main screw. The screw threads are 9.25" of thread, 14" of shaft to the hilt of the shaft and 16.5" overall. Looking for a good machinest.
