    Steel Pipe Threading (Homeowner's Edition)

Firebrick43 thank you for that informative reason why one shouldn't use PVC for air lines. That was all I wanted to begin with. If you would look back on my post you will see I never claimed it was safe . I just wanted to know why it wasn't. Is there a list of subjects that piss members off...

    Steel Pipe Threading (Homeowner's Edition)

I just asked a honest question about something I had never heard before. I thought this would be a forum I could learn from . I don't claim to know everything just because I've turned wrenches for 50 years and have inventions used around the world. I didn't think trying to gain a little more...

    Steel Pipe Threading (Homeowner's Edition)

I've got to admit I had never heard about any problems with the use of PVC for air lines. I've use it for over 35 years for air lines without any issues. The two garages I used it in were heated in the winter if that makes any difference .

I Can't Get My Echo Trimmer To Run Right

I just checked the fuel lines for blockage. I blew very low psi air through the vent line and I tried running it with the gas cap loose. It is a Zama carb. Thanks.

I Can't Get My Echo Trimmer To Run Right

I had a few minutes tonight and it does start and runs at lower rpm but , will only idle for a few seconds before it dies. Does the little hidden brass screw on the side of the carb have a standard setting like a turn and a half off bottom ?

I Can't Get My Echo Trimmer To Run Right

I have a Echo trimmer that starts pretty easy but, will only stays running if I keep it at almost full throttle. I've got new gas, air filter, and spark plug that is gapped correctly. I've checked the fuel line ,fuel filter, muffler screen, vent line, and for any loose screws. I've had it for...

    Escape FROM my dream shop

He is right about Oklahoma. Great place to live. Super conservative state. When Obama ran against McCain, he didn't win a single county. Bass fishing is very big here and deer hunting. Cost of living is cheap compared to most places and real estate is cheaper. More laws are passed every year to...

    DR chippers

I worked with a guy that used to run a tool rental business. He said don't waste you money on these home owner type chippers . He said rent a commercial chipper when you need it.

Anyone here use journals at work or home?

I used to before I retired at the refinery. I kept detailed notes on all the equipment that I rebuilt. Just before I left two of the bosses ask me to be sure I left them by book. I should have burned it after the way they treated me. P-666 *****. I don't know what is on the market now. I used...
