Storing a. Extremely Large Tv Box on garage ceiling

Lol! I did a cardboard purge last year as I was collecting more boxes than I had oil changes. But for TVs and my PSA subs and speakers I can’t bring myself to throw them out. I’ve still got the double boxs for my 25 year old Definitive Technology speakers which are now my surrounds. This...

lol! I’m definitely a box hoarder. The problem is I’ve never owned a tv of this magnitude. It’s a f’in monster.

Thinking you mean some eyelets into the joists and a ratchet strap between them? Interesting…

Storing a. Extremely Large Tv Box on garage ceiling

I’m slightly hoardish when it comes to stuff like this. I could need it or I could be passing it along to whomever gets my stuff when I’m dead. At least they’ll have a box lol.

This is the other option I was thinking. I would have to fold the box though as there is no space large enough. I’ll kick this around - thanks!

Storing a. Extremely Large Tv Box on garage ceiling

Good idea. The box is actually pretty heavy though as it’s huge. I’ll also want to keep the feet in there.

Storing a. Extremely Large Tv Box on garage ceiling

lol! You described exactly how I am with my cardboard boxes for large items. Including CAD and spray paint booths. I’m thinking of using the pallet to make corner braces screwed to the joists two of which can turn to allow the box in then turn back to lock. And of course you can come over...

Storing a. Extremely Large Tv Box on garage ceiling

i recently got a 100” tv which comes in a box with the following dimensions: 94” L x 58” W x 11” D I plan to keep the humongous box (at least for 90 days if I return but really if I ever need to move the tv in the future). but am limited on places to store it. I want to keep all the...

Is M22 just for home jobbers?

    Pressure Washer Quick Disconnects

Interesting- now it makes sense why there was such a lack of M22. I thought that all PW used them - learned something new again! The HD/Powecare ones I have are brass for the female and “aluminum blend” for the male plugs according to the manufacturer. However in one of the reviews a guy...

    Pressure Washer Quick Disconnects

Well this is mildly annoying as I've been searching and it seems that the Eaton/Hansen don't have the M22 thread QDs. I've seen mixed reviews on the MTM SS and think I'm just going to keep the HD ones and lube them up as required.

    Pressure Washer Quick Disconnects

Good info thank you. That may have been what caused the issue as I would roll the hoses up and stick the male in the female for storage. I'll leave them apart to dry out going forward. And that's great info about the steel vs. brass plugs. I never understood why the plugs were steel...now I...

Yea that’s what I’m curious about. They are around the same price as the HD ones.

    Pressure Washer Quick Disconnects

I'll check them out - thanks! The ones I have purchased are the 14mm and they fit both my PWs (not sure if the 14mm is equivalent to SAE in this context). I'm still seeing the SS ones are more expensive: example han-34705 SS = ~$30 and the han-34719 brass $12. I've also seen stainless on...
