Did the 1979 survey put in corner marks, usually 1" or 2" pipe? I found my corners were marked years ago on the county GIS map so they were easily found with a metal detector.

I do a fair amount of woodworking in my shop year round and even with efficient dust collection, my heater seems to be a magnet for wood dust. A few weeks ago I turned on the heat and had similar issues to the OP. A few squirts of compressed air and all is well again.

Just picked up an old 3 phase wood lathe that I'm running on 240V single phase with a Teco L510 VFD (about $150). There's a you tube guy named clough42 (that should've been a teacher) who explains the operation simple enough for anyone to understand.

The ribs are under an inch. If you do the work, drywall will be less than half of what metal would cost and will weigh 5X as much.
