    Wiring a single phase 15amp 230v motor

The only thing that was changed was that plug on the planer (pic#2). I just showed that pic for the wiring it self at the end of the cord. As far as I know everything else is original. These are not made anymore and the switch looks just like others online. I'm not the original owner though...

    Wiring a single phase 15amp 230v motor

Just a switch I took the cover off for the pics if I understand your question correctly. No attachment plug. So it sounds like I can use a double 20amp with the wiring I already have and be good. No neutral. Also I forgot to mention that the green and red are whats coming from the motor...

Now do I install a double pole 15amp in the panel and using 10/2 (I had this laying around) attach both black...

I also purchased this one and got it a few days ago. Went to test it out and noticed that the part which screws to the hose has lots of play, doesn't seem right. Is everyones rigid to the machine or has play?

Any advise on cleaning this up?

Yea makes sense. I do have some WD40 dry lube that I can use and grease the chain and gears in the bottom portion of the planer which is closed off.

Any advise on cleaning this up?

Guys thanks again for the replies. I forgot to ask about greasing the posts that adjust the height. I'd like to give everything a good lubing including the chain and sprockets that move everything. Lithium grease in a spray can adequate?

Any advise on cleaning this up?

Awesome! Ill try one of the methods mentioned. I know it's a China brand and a copy but I thought I saw replacement parts for this when I did a Google search on the machine? I may have to check again. I don't need anything for it anyway as its in good working order but it would be good to know...

    help wiring my compressor

Haha yes sir. Originally thought of keeping the compressor in the garage but now I think its a good idea in keeping it in the basement where its cooler and pipe the air to the garage.
