Need Help building bike rack from Fabricators and CAD guys

A rack on the roof of the pop-up is a good camping solution, but won’t help when you aren’t towing, and the weight of the e-bikes is a few pounds. You need a raised rack. Just drill a few nice holes in those pristine bed rails, little extrusion risers, and crossbars.

Where do I put 4 bikes while the bed is full of camping stuff and I’m towing the camper? Here’s what I did.

The boy somehow broke the b tension spring on his sram rear derailleur. We opened it up to confirm today and ordered a kit to repair it. He also brought up how we should have gone up to Killington this weekend to ski the glacier. I’m definitely not feeling it, but it would be a party. Next year...

8ft of old deck 2 by 8’s to come in levelish from the street then angle down another 8ft into the grass. A fun way to enter and exit the yard, none of that use the driveway type thinking.

It’s been in the plan to build a skinny to come in off the road into the yard as it drops in nicely. This morning was the day.

I’m pleased. Now to plan the metric side, hex, Torx, and ratchet display.

Of course the wood is the drawer fronts off a roadside dresser.

Been dragging my feet at work for years to grab my cdl permit and start the classes. Took today off to take the permit test. Then I started laying out the 3/8’s sae socket organizer.

Added wheels and tires, seatpost, bars, stem. Clean crankset and derailleur. Got most of what I need, except shifters.

Been too long since a post. Moving into bike season. I do like my super v’s and this frame and headshock popped up on the Facebook for free. I’ve got most of the parts for the build.

Been struggling forever on socket storage. I’ve been a USA craftsman guy since I was a kid and bought my first set in like 1993. Still have it and bought other sets and loose pieces. I don’t hate the blow molded stuff, but it just doesn’t hold what I have and wastes space. I’ve finally decided...

Going to get back on the shed posting. Got a bunch of little projects planned. Cleaned the rust off the slides of this beast sliding saw that the neighbor passed along. Also, made that second shelf that I mentioned to hold the rest of those matching boxes for parts.

With the cold, the boy has requested that we drag his bike into the basement for a lube and go through. We pulled the crank to chase a noise in the bb. Yeah, it’s going to need a bearing on one side, not destroyed, but it won’t be getting better. She also needs a new shifter cable housing. Once...

    Bamboo Ski Pole Restomod

Got the first two ski days in of the season shredding Mount Sutton in Quebec. Poles held up on everything the mountain had. No issues, but I don’t love the cross country style grips. Now I’ll get to planning the re-grip.
