What did you do "IN" your garage today?

I test fit the new headers. I had to get these because the exhaust manifolds wouldn’t allow the oil dip stick tube to go into the block. I’m finally seeing light at the end of the tunnel. I’d like to get the engine in the truck and fire it up by October 1st. We will see.

That’s going to be a nice upgrade. Good thing to see is that the rear main seal isn’t leaking. Unlike in my car 😒

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Made a dolly, using scrap wood, so I can move the parts washer around the garage. I brought it over from my dad’s to use for my transmission rebuild. I needed to move and stash it in the corner until I need it again, not sure when that may be.

My dad had a 56 f100 too. 56 is my favorite year. Looking forward to watching the progress.

Interesting, thanks for the info. Hot as in running them on engine hot, or leaving them in the sun all day hot?

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

The ram horns didn’t fit on the new heads because the AFRs have protrusions near the bottom. Fortunately, my dad had some old Sanderson manifolds that he wasn’t using anymore. They fit perfectly, and that’s what I’m going to use. Since I’ve already fitted them, I’ll work on the new spark wires...
