    Bendpak HD9 assembly question.

E-Tec and Matt. I spoke with Garage Equip Supply. They weren't sure at first about the air/hyd hook ups on the ram. I have the HD-F which is the newest model. On mine, the front port hooks to the distal end of the ram, nearest the extendable shaft. The back port acts and an air bleed to the...

    Bendpak HD9 assembly question.

Yup, that's the problem. Wasn't thinking of the hydraulic arm. Pump to arm. Air intake to 4 posts. Too much wine.

    Bendpak HD9 assembly question.

I do realize that there are separate air and hydraulic lines. I may have the different motor type as there are 2 that come on the HD-9. I may be missing a fitting. I believe the air enter the left side of the motor and exits the right.

    Bendpak HD9 assembly question.

I'm stumped. On the right side of the power unit, I have the hydraulic line closest to me and the air line directly behind. Both in line with each other. The directions spec'd 90 degree elbows which came with the lift. Running the lines from the right side of the lift is straightforward...

    Wall plates for 220 outlets?

Those blue and metal boxes seem like they would do the trick. Any idea where to get them?

    Wall plates for 220 outlets?

Sorry if I was not clear. The problem I have is that the cover (solid) that goes over the junction box is smaller than the hole in the drywall. I figure I'll have to mud around the edges of the plaster ring to build it out to wall dimension.

    Wall plates for 220 outlets?

I seem to have hit a roadblock. I have 5/8" drywall on my walls with the 4 x 4 220 boxes behind it. The front of the 4 x 4 box is flush with the front of the stud. The problem is, the box sits back 5/8" due to the dry wall. Any options besides mudding a plaster ring to the box? Does anyone...

    Some foundation questions.

    1. What is the acceptable out of plumb limit for a block wall? 2. Is mortar acceptable for leveling out a block wall if the concrete foundation slopes downward?

    Ceiling question. Bear with me.

28 x 26 garage. 24 inches oc trusses. I've been debating P2000 alone on the ceiling (less sag, supposedly R40). Any other ideas for easy install, good R value and light reflection?

One more foundation question. Who's telling the truth here?

Well. Thanks for the replies. Our city code requires that you fully remove the footings. We'll have to pack down the fill to prevent voids, etc. More soon.

One more foundation question. Who's telling the truth here?

I tore down my 20 x 20 garage in order to build a 28 x 26. Most of the foundation will fall outside the original footing. One contractor said he just needs to knock the footing flush with the ground. The other said he needs to completely remove it. I live in Michigan so frost heave is an...

    Couple quick floor questions.

Hello, new to the board. Building a new garage 28wx 26l. I want to use either the Maxjax? portable or a 4 post drive up. That said, the Maxjax people said 4" SHOULD be o.k. for their product. I can run 6" cement but if not needed, why do it? On a second note, I've heard Wolverine or Ucoat...

    Epoxy and Tile (Brands+Prices)

Hello guys. I'm new here but wanted to post what I found on the Armstrong VCT site. It states that you have to maintain 55 degrees farenheit at all times once the tile is installed. This is to ensure proper tile and glue durability. This might not be easily accomplished in cooler climates.
