You have a great looking set up. I am in the beginning stages of building mine and I had a few questions. What size doors do you have? how far in did you set the lifts? how much space is between the top of the vehicle and the door when it is open? I'm doing 12' wall also but I will be doing...
I'm bringing back a thread from the dead here.
Does anyone have any new experience with the Janus roll up doors? I'm looking at the 3100I 10 x 10 roll up door. Is the insulated door worth it? It doesn't seem to have much insulation. They said it was a R value of 2.4. That seems like...
I really appreciate the response. I am going to look into Backwoods. I was in the yard today laying out flags and still trying to nail down exactly what I want and where I want it. I'm on the north side of Crestview. I was also trying to figure out today if I am considered city or county. I...
I'm glad I stumbled across your thread. I just started trying to find someone to build the exact same shop as you (30 x 40 x 12). I too am in Northwest Florida (Okaloosa County). It has been difficult to get anyone to answer a phone in the permit office. Can you answer a few questions for...
That vert is a time capsule!! It is getting harder and harder to find a nice original foxbody. Thanks for the measurements. I look forward to see the progress on your garage. It is very similar to how I would do mine.
I like the layout of your garage. what are the dimensions of the overall garage and whats the size of the tool room? I have thought about putting up a wall in my single bay so that I could protect the cars from metal work and wood work with out having to always pull the cars out of the garage...
it looks like you have quite a bit of room. I like how the 2 cars are split and the center is the work area. The way you have set it up looks really good.
I like how you are doing the upper storage. I did something similar but never put any doors on it and it always bugged me. I like keeping all the junk hidden. Can you show some more detail on how you did the sliders for the doors? Your garage is coming along great. Im looking forward to...
That bar looks awesome! We did concrete counter tops on our BBQ island in the back yard at our home in Arizona before we moved. I really liked the look of them. I can't wait to see the rest of what you have planned for the bar area and the rest of the shop.
Tapsa - Those are some great shots. Hopefully you start a threat and share your set up.
Caker - I really like those curio cabinets. Can you post some close ups of them?
