Appreciate the lookout. I’m not sure what the fine is here for using at the lights. However, I refuse to use my for anything other than phone calls while driving regardless of fines. Don’t want to be that guy.
And that’s fine. I was sitting at a light trying to get the message out before I had to start driving again. I figured it was just a generic cover that someone would immediately know the name of. Geez, I ask a question and was called lazy for. There is no defense for that. Being rude when asking...

I was thinking, due to the galvanic chart that PCustoms suggested I check out, that I could use some 3/16" think 304 stainless steel rod. I would bend 2 U shaped and weld then onto a rod spanning the ends of the heater to support it.
Yes, I have been telling myself this. However, I did read about differing metals possibly reacting in this setup which doesn't help with the over thinking part..
I guess another option would be to use steel/stainless steel, and then wrap it with high temp fuel line. I assume the rubber can withstand the temp of the 1500watt heater surface.

Regardless of what metal I use, my plan is to TIG weld a cradle to hold each end of the...
Hey all,
I have a project of adding an immersion heater to a water based solution to clean suspension parts.
The cleaner is: simple green aircraft & precision cleaner at a ratio of 1 part cleaner to 3 parts water
The immersion heater is: Briidea...
Well I tried it. Did a 15% solvent and it laid down terribly. I called POR and they told me to do 10-20% solvent. I used bristle brushes. Maybe I should try foam?
