hey thanks for the reply! I will have to get some pictures of how the garage was built, but the base of the roof is sitting directly on 2 stacked horizontal 2x 4's which are sitting right on the cement blocks. I don't think I will be able to add soffit vents. Like I had mentioned, I am going...

Hey guys I have a question... This is my garage currently, I would like to begin insulating and understand im going to need to vent. I am planning on putting collar ties across about 2-3 feet below the peak. essentially building an "attic space" then cross venting with gable vents. Am I OK...

Just a little update, been a while since posting been busy with wedding planning and yada yada....! But so much for a neatening up the garage, bought another dub a 95 cabrio, pulling the motor on this thing and respraying...
