I ment to say. I did remove the inground lift tops..had all the fluid pumped out as well.

My dad owned a 5 bay station starting back in 1959...when he passed ..in 2009. I sold the place. I should of kept it! My advice is if u bye it for your business or personal use put in the sale..you want the tanks removed.as a condition..of the sale..I had ours removed in 1999.. it was cheap...

Hi looking at your inground lift..it could be a Globe or Ford smith..there's a company in IL call S.V.I. Corp. In Dekalb,IL .my dad's old inground looks similar..I believe it's a Globe..model. From the 1960s or 70s .. today costs in 2023 that lift will cost u around 9 grand..new Plus...

Seen your post on inground lift..I got a single post Rotary model FP 46 H mark 5. This yr .it sat for at least 30 yrs per the 95 yr old owner..I did get it to go up..the non rotor leg did stick a bit. Yes it had dirt in the bottom of it..so when we got it home .I took it apart of the piston...

Hi ..my dad owned 5 ingrounds back in day 1 double post a Rotary..1990 model 4 single 3 of them fram concate...last one a drive on..all GLOBE s..from 1959 to the yr 2000 ..we never ever had one issue with inground s..they are vary reliable..if cared for..the only thing we did is change out...

Hi Ford smith and globe are same company..same parts..there's a company in Dekalb,IL that makes parts for all lift companys ..called SVI Corp..u can look them up on line or call them..I just bought a piston seal from them for my inground Rotary lift..and a new oil valve..I think inground lifts...

You can get parts from SVI Corp in Dekalb,IL. They make replacement parts and piston seals..call them ..if u have the plate information to give them..

This is my second lift install..1st on I did in 1999 at my old home .. garage..sold in 2016..now I'm down in Florida Simi retired..found an old Rotary inground, single post lift..I've done the same thing ..work table for my golf cart work and my cars ..easy to install.. nothing like an old...

Hi I have an old school Rotary lift in my garage at home..it's used from an old business..body shop...1983 unit single post lift..I did a American restoration to it..the oil tank is now above ground..so I don't have an EPA issue.. my oil line is new. I coated with truck bed liner..so no rust...

I own a inground lift myself. In the past in my first home I installed one. In 1999. As far as I know it's still in there .they are not using it..it's dormant..it was built in 1996 and has fiblglass coated on the outside case..self contained. My second lift is older..a 1983 Rotary single post...

Hi .yes inground s are still built..SVI corp in Dekalb,IL builds GLOBE Lifts ingrounds single ,and double posts. They come with fiberglass casings..now days no EPA issues..they have come a long way...today in 2023..I own a inground lift..and sware by them .. I own a Rotary brand lift...
