Based on my research 10% is tolerable so this is right at the limit...
I’ve decided I’m overdue for some safety wire pliers. There seems to be a huge difference in cost between the Amazon cheapies at 25 bucks and even the gearwrench version which are $130 or so. I’m all for buying the good ones but wanted to see what folks were liking.

What’s the best way to seam weld weathering steel? I’ve read wire with a high nickel content will provide a solid weld but may look different in time. Is there a special gas mix that needs to be used? I’ll be using a Miller 211 and I am an above average hobby welder taught by a professional 10...
