Favorite hammer of all time is a 20 oz straight claw Estwing, I also have a 16 oz leather, 2 or 3lb mini sledge, leather handled axe, roofers hammer, mason hammer and they are ALL Estwings.

I kinda remember the tolerance issues of tapes because I heard when they built the St. Lois arch all the workers had to have the same tape or they would get sent home. Since they were building both sides seperately and planned on meeting in the sky the tolerances needed to be the same and when...

Been doing that for years too , not quite storage but by far the best way to keep my most used frog hide extension cord handy and untangled. Best part is you plud in the whip from the bottome and only pull out what you need :thumbup:

Negative, pulling down the drywall is not an option, but if I decide to add-on another external bay to the garage then that one will be to current standards and built well. Designed for heat/ air and possibly drain

Wish I had a pic, in my last garage I had a cheap metal wall mount coat rack with upper and lower hooks like this and had the cords loose wrapped (around my arm) left a few feet loose to tie them up and had big cords on top and little cords below. I only remember buying 1 or 2 but I must have 10.
