Whats the best spray on penetrating oil?

I think a lot of this is mental, If you believe it is gonna work for you, you are more apt to stay with it until you get the results you want...If you don't believe in the product, you are gonna take less time, apply to much torque, etc.

    Wiring

Another issue, Hei distributor has 2 loose wires, one looks like a ground (black with a rather large eyelet), and one is a female insulated spade. Have the batt and tach wire attached @ the cap, but what are the others for?

    Wiring

I think one reason it is taking so long, (for me) is that I am trying to route the wires in my head, so that I will get a neat job and not have to back track or regret that I have cut a wire to short, or routed a wire that could have been bundled with others. As for the money, this is just a...

    Wiring

How long would one think it would take to install an American Auto Wire system in a '65 El Camino? Working for a friend of a friend and I have 12 hours so far and not much to show for it... I enjoy the work and do not want to overcharge the guy, so what would you guys think the flat rate would be?

    welder purchase?

Thanks for the input guys, I do have some welding experience (although limited, I would never hire out as a welder) Without question an dc machine would be a lot better in any application, but I have used the smaller name brand stick welders and have not been impressed with them in regards to...

    welder purchase?

Hey guys! I got a chance to buy a welder, It is a huge old lincoln tm 500 ac machine. Has any one had any experience with these? I really was lookin' for a dc machine, but this may be cheap, and is better than what I have now (which is no welder at all). Seems to work well and I was thinking...

    Pit box plans

Friend of mine is losing his aircraft hanger space, and he wants to build a box like the pit boxes at the races. I would imagine that a factory one would be cost prohibitive. Any one seen any plans to build one anywhere? He is planning to roll it from storage building to tie down area, so...

    Craftsman Vs. The World

About a year a go, I was called on, by the company that I work for, to do field work out of a service truck, along with my other responsibilities. This meant that I would have to take tools from my shop box and put them in a service truck every time I went out, and return them when I got back...
