i'd say go with 3/8. the belts are cheaper and more abundant. I use a 3m 3/8 belt air sander in my bodyshop. but i'm considering doing this to get away from air tools for everything i can except paint guns.

I use 10 deep literally every single day, multiple times. It's my most used socket. I work at a dealership as a body technician & also do some service tech work as well.

I feel your pain. My distal biceps tendon exploded while deadlifting in October. I still haven't got my full strength or size back 10 months later. And my bicep is deformed from the surgery...but mine was a really bad injury.
