    Liftmaster 3800 Jackshaft opener problem?

    Sounds more like a problem with the door/rod than the opener. Is it new? Also, the 3800 has a gizmo that monitors the cable tension, did you install this?

    $40 for the magent set at Zcals isn't bad.. you get every icon in both large and small sizes. Heck, I did almost two boxes with them and the quality is nice (plus they look killer on my box). Anyways.. $40 for lables is chump change compared to the money into the boxes and tools. lol

    I just installed the Everlast battery backup today... if the power goes out I can still get in my garage :) Seemed worth it for $50...

    And I LOVE IT!! My old convential opener died, so it was time for a new one. I had seen the 3800 mentioned here and really liked the idea of no opener over my car. the problem was that I couldn't find anyone willing to install it around me. They all said "it's too hard" or said they didn't...

    Yea.. so you find old rusty mistreated tools that you didn't pay for and then you are pissed that Sears won't give you brand new stuff?? :spit: And how is a breaker bar hurt by being rusty? I don't see why they SHOULD replace that item. Abuses of the system like this is exactly why companies...
