I have used PB Blaster to lubricate my ratchets for years. Never had any problems.

I have a 15 year old Blackmax that my wife purchased for me as a gift. I have never had any problems with it. It runs all my air tools including my DA without any problems. The better compressors have separate motor and pumps, this is very important! Just my two cents.

That's one heck of a welding table you built! The extension is a great idea.

I have a 1953 Logan, 1940-2. Its excellent. Depending on the size work or type of work you do, perhaps that's something to consider (or any Logan for that matter).

I use 12pt and 6pt, std and met, deep and shallow, all the time. What I use depends on the application.
