Looking for a pics in a past posting

Awhile back, someone posted really impressive pics of a major electrical install. It showed multiple service panels with hundreds of meticulously routed yellow Romex runs against a solid black backboard. A literal work of art. Tried searching for it to no avail. Anyone remember that and perhaps...

30-Amp power inlet wiring to breaker panel question

Ok, got it. One last question (I hope)... so based on the above, do I even need to run 4 conductors to the outdoor inlet plug, or can I just run 3 #10 THWN (Red, Blk, and White)?

30-Amp power inlet wiring to breaker panel question

Ok, thanks. Once I do this un-bonding on the generator, do I still need to physically ground the generator frame outside to a ground rod, or does it rely on the ground connection supplied from where I have both the green and bare copper ground wire tied to my common ground/neutral buss in my...

30-Amp power inlet wiring to breaker panel question

No, the 30 amp output has a regular 30 amp breaker. The two duplex 120 volt receptacles are GFCI type, but I probably won't be using those at all with my planned connectivity.

30-Amp power inlet wiring to breaker panel question

Also, the generator itself has a copper ground lug on it attached to the frame. Do I need to do anything with that, or is that only for when you use it with extension cords as feeds? And, can I run 4 THWN conductors in a 1/2" PVC conduit, or do I need to go 3/4"?

30-Amp power inlet wiring to breaker panel question

I'm installing an outdoor 30 amp power inlet box so I can connect my generator to my existing breaker panel. And yes, I'm using an interlock device at the panel for safety. The outdoor power inlet box/plug has 4 terminals, L1, L2, Neutral, and Ground. I'm planning on running 10-3 with ground...

NEW build 36 x 50 garage (hot rod shop)

You might want to reconsider having two different circuits share the same neutral. Could present a serious safety hazard when working on the wiring. Unless you always shut both breakers off, you could get a deadly poke off the neutral (if one of the circuits is live and under load).
