Can someone recommend a good leaf blower?

I've an SH86 which is the same but comes with the vacuum bag never had any serious problems with it and liked it so much bought a second one to save changing the tubes over. Only have two problems with it as a vacuum occasionally pick up a small twig which can get stuck in the fan and if...

Strange the ordinary 6.0 is listed as that but the HO is listed as a 5.5 perhaps to prevent confusion by having two different 6.0s Understand about how things are labelled differently our electric motors are labelled generally by the running current rather than by the current just before the...

So what's the deal with the 5.5Ah HO batteries? Haven't seen any mention of them here are they only available over my side of the pond? Claim is 50% more power and runs 50% cooler.

    Wood Dust Collection

To answer your question on metal type. If you are likely to use it for any floor cleaning and likely to pick up stray nails and screws a steel impeller will lead to sparks. How much of a problem this is in real life is moot. There are stories of all types of incident on the net but if it was...

Which tools to use to fix my skillet?

You can certainly buy Aluminium pop rivets which have a closed end to prevent leakage, not sure whether the same would apply to Stainless Steel rivets? I have peened steel rivets with a hammer, can you peen stainless steel rivets the same way? I would have thought that the trend for it to work...

I've two hand held and two backpack Stihl Blowers. Backpacks are ridiculously powerful. Hand helds one set up with a vacuum bag and one as a blower. Works great as a vac, small twigs are OK pencil size ones sometimes get stuck between the impeller and the housing which is a pain as you have...

Which SDS Bit Sizes to Maintain for Rotary Hammer Drill?

I bought off Ebay a set of DeWalt SDS bits in a fabric case has bits from 1/4 to 3/8. Would guess that most of the major brands has something similar and likely to be cheaper than buying individual sizes.

    Screw driver lengths..

This. Particularly if you are dealing with high end cabinetmaking or joinery and slotted screws. You can do a lot of damage if the screwdriver slips from the head of a screw and across a highly finished surface. For most other trades the length which is needed for the task.

You know a cat loves you when she brings her kittens over to show you as she gives birth and wants to sit on your lap with a wet rear end between births. My two oldest were born in my bedroom by a stray who only stayed until the kittens no longer needed her. Youngest is from my queen who loves me.

    Milwaukee drill chuck removal help.

Just check there is a spindle lock before replacing the keyed chuck with a keyless. If the spindle is free to turn you will never get a keyless to tighten

Do any of you use metabo

As with most brands it depends on the coo. Some of their tools are make in Germany and some in China. German grinders are great, Chinese stuff is the same as other major brands stuff made in china.

    Wetzler wood clamp handles

Not sure what type of clamp you have and can't seem to get google results. However if the clamps still have the handles and it is just the wood that needs replacing why not remove the ferrule from the existing handles and reuse them? Otherwise I would find some suitable size steel pipe and cut...

Bought the M18 work light since bought the search light and just bought the hard hat head light. Expensive but no worrying about batteries and I’ve a number of 4.0 and 5.0 batteries so they're always ready to go.
