I'd put it on the negative cable. Probably a shorted diode in the rectifier for what it's worth, Steve

Where most bleeders fall short is the adapters. The threaded types generally work OK. If your bleeding a master like a Corvette style you need something quality. You will end up with fluid going everywhere. The Branick is the only one I've used that works. Hope this helps, Steve
