    Best Ratchet Wrenches?

I'm backing up Cherrybomb on the Proto chrome splined ratchet combination wrenches as they are my go-to tools for a big part of my job tasks (aircraft maintenance). I manage to use them in some awful tight spots cramped with metal parts, tubes and wire bundles, and they do a VERY nice job...

    Show your new tool arrivals

These came in a couple of days ago, the finish is stunning and the ratcheting action sound made a grumpy old coworker smile. I'm really impressed of the way the splines grip a 12 point engine bolt.

    Tools of Japan

My Nejisaurus had a picture in red color, I was surprised they came in pink. Lots of laugh and gay jokes at work.

    penetrating oil

I don't know if this product is available in the US but at the base maintenance facility I work at we use a lot of Motip Penetrating oil. A couple of days ago I managed to stir a couple of stuck link bearings on the V2500 eng aft mount. Hope that helps.

    Pelican 0450 - Portable Tool Chest Opinions/Alternatives?

Italian manufacturer GT Line (and Explorer cases) makes the portable tool cases for Stahlwille, Bahco and Facom, in Italy the product can be found at around 300 EUR, in UK 300 GBP, the rest of Europe sells it for around 500~800 EUR.

    Pelican 0450 - Portable Tool Chest Opinions/Alternatives?

Zkling, please do mention the brand here if you remember it someday. A cheap alternative is an "US Pro" toolbox, but I highly doubt it that it's gonna make it through airline luggage handlers' excellent service.

    Pelican 0450 - Portable Tool Chest Opinions/Alternatives?

Don, below is a link to a thread I've started on these boxes, I still need one, I'm a start-up aircraft mech, soon to be contractor. Finky is 100% percent correct - those boxes are bulky, heavy, cannot hold many tools and are really expensive, so think twice before jumping for one. Anyway...

    Plastic trolley tool box

Hey guys, I'm looking for a certain type of plastic trolley tool box - rugged, waterproof, with drawers as it is one of the most convenient methods of tool organizing and transportation I ever saw. My choice narrows down to these: Peli Case 0450 Stahlwille 13217 Snap-on KMC 18062...
